Client Overview
Weathered Roots is an outdoor brand inspired by the true process of hunting and fishing. They have a deep connection and appreciation for nature and animals. They were tired of seeing cliche, trendy, and cheap outdoor brands that only lasted a year or two.
This made them realize they needed a strong visual identity that reflected authenticity. They were standing on the values and traditions passed down from their Granddad. A heritage that never fails and stands the test of time.
The Solution
Identity System: An extensive logo suite with many variations for the optimization of apparel.
Color Palette: Neutral outdoorsy colors with one pop of red for brand recognition.
Application: The brand was designed thinking of embroidery as the main application. This meant clean typography and a minimal overall design.
Wordmark: A hand-drawn script that screams timeless outdoor brand.
The Results
Weathered Roots now has a strong foundation from which to build its brand. They are going to start creating content of hunting and fishing adventures to build a loyal audience. Apparel drops will be soon to come.

Brand Positioning: A masculine brand that is built on quality and tradition.
Target Audience: The ideal customer is a 24-year-old outdoorsman who loves hunting and fishing. He has a granddad who taught him everything he knows.
